Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing for a high-profile wedding at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, with a venue capacity of 19,500. Photographs taken outside the venue show both the National Guard and NYPD present for a security meeting just days before the anticipated July 3 ceremony.
Security and Guest Protocols
Stringent security measures are reportedly in place. Guests are required to sign electronic NDAs before attending, and each invitation is individually watermarked. The presence of the National Guard and NYPD underscores the scale of the event, which is expected to draw showbiz elite.
Venue Preparations and Castle Construction
A red carpet has been laid near the garden's VIP entrance, according to the Mirror. Around 100 guests are expected for a smaller gathering on July 2, followed by a larger celebration on July 3. Insiders told TMZ that a massive castle is being constructed inside a garden at MSG, adding a fairy-tale touch. Workers were photographed offloading scenic elements marked "Garden Party 1 (Scenic)" and spray-painted "GP" outside the venue.
Event Scheduling and Road Closures
The New York Times previously reported that MSG was hired for a multi-day event by Winick Productions from July 2-4. The stadium's public diary remains blank for those dates, with a Bon Jovi concert listed on July 7. Applications for road closures around the venue have been approved. New York City Hall spokesperson Dora Pekec told US Weekly: "That just means they're going to put proper protocols to make sure everyone's safe and can get around."
Unconfirmed but Elaborate Plans
It has not been formally confirmed that MSG is the wedding venue, and the couple may be using an elaborate smokescreen. However, the extensive preparations suggest a major event is underway.
