Travis Kelce has ignited fresh speculation about an engagement and potential baby plans with girlfriend Taylor Swift after a playful comment on the latest episode of the 'New Heights' podcast. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, alongside his brother Jason Kelce, discussed lab-grown diamonds before Travis made a humorous analogy comparing NBA star Victor Wembanyama to a 'lab-grown NBA player.' He then quipped, 'Can’t wait til I f–kin’ make one,' referring to having children.
Jason, a retired NFL star, quickly urged his brother to avoid fuelling fan theories, saying, 'Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please.' Social media erupted with excitement, though some fans cautioned against taking the brothers' banter too seriously. One fan advised, 'You guys need to understand that they joke a lot in this podcast pls don’t take it seriously.'
Amid the rumours, Philadelphia-based jewellery designer Steven Singer reportedly offered Travis a $1 million custom-made ring for a potential proposal, as per Page Six. However, celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman predicted a year of adventure for the couple rather than wedding bells. She suggested Taylor's 2024 will be travel-filled due to her Eras tour, while Travis's tarot card indicates wisdom and peace, with marriage thoughts present but not paramount.
Taylor and Travis's romance began in mid-2023 after Travis attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium. He later admitted on his podcast to attempting to connect with her via a friendship bracelet. The relationship went public when Taylor appeared at one of his games, and Travis travelled to Argentina to watch her perform. Taylor famously changed the lyrics of 'Karma' to reference 'the guy on the Chiefs,' cementing their bond.
