Travis Kelce's sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, has addressed why she did not publicly congratulate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their engagement. Speaking on her podcast 'Not Gonna Lie', Kylie said she made a conscious effort not to discuss the couple publicly to avoid media misinterpretation.
Kylie explained that she values her private relationship with Travis and Taylor, stating: 'I don't need to come out here and make statements when I already talked to them.' She added that she is 'incredibly happy for them' and that her daughters are excited to gain another aunt.
She criticised tabloids and AI for taking quotes out of context, emphasising that her family's relationships are personal. Kylie concluded that she does not need to comment on every life event because she can simply text them directly.
Travis proposed to Taylor in the garden of his $6 million mansion in Leawood, Kansas, two weeks before the couple announced the news on social media on August 26.
