Gordon Ramsay Breaks Silence on Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty Wedding Dispute

Gordon Ramsay has spoken out for the first time about the controversy surrounding his daughter Holly Ramsay's wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. In an interview with the Daily Mail ahead of his new Netflix documentary, the celebrity chef addressed the reports of a family feud that dominated headlines in late 2025.

The wedding took place on December 27, 2025, with only one of Peaty's immediate family members present. Rumours had circulated that Peaty's mother and brothers were uninvited, following claims from Caroline Peaty that she was not invited to Holly's hen do. Ramsay disputed suggestions that the Peatys had been 'shunned', describing the situation as 'self-inflicted from their side'. He said: 'We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty.'

Ramsay claimed it was Holly and Adam's decision not to invite Adam's parents, adding: 'We had to respect that. There's stuff they need to sort out as parents.' The chef also described the 'pressure' to make the day perfect, and the moment he arrived at Bath Abbey with his daughter to find the venue swarming with paparazzi. 'Her hands started shaking. She said, “Daddy!” I said, “Look Holls, we’ve got this.”'

Addressing rumours of inappropriate comments in his father-of-the-bride speech, Ramsay insisted: 'Nothing at all was said that was inappropriate, I promise you. I was very warm, very witty.' Both Gordon and his wife Tana expressed openness to reconciliation, with Gordon saying: 'I would like to go up to Nottingham with Tana and see them and draw a line in the sand.'
