Tamzin Outhwaite Shares Stunning Results of £4,950 Non-Surgical Facelift
British actress Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed the remarkable outcomes of her £4,950 non-surgical facelift treatment, expressing newfound confidence after undergoing eight NeoGen nitrogen plasma facials over the past year. The 55-year-old EastEnders star looked sensational as she shared before and after photographs from her transformative journey at the Ambra Clinic in Finchley.
Avoiding Surgery While Seeking Improvement
Speaking candidly about her decision, Outhwaite explained that while noticing changes in her appearance with age, she remained committed to avoiding cosmetic surgery and injectables. 'When I looked in the mirror, I just could see that my face never looked as good as it used to,' she revealed. 'At my age I know it's hard to avoid this, but I'd really started to notice the difference and it was getting me down a bit.'
The actress emphasized her professional need for facial expressiveness, stating: 'I definitely didn't want to go under the knife. I didn't want any form of face-lift, and I'm extremely wary of having injectables because I'm an actor and I need to have an expressive face.'
Finding Inspiration and Treatment Details
Outhwaite's research led her to the NeoGen procedure after seeing the impressive results achieved by Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas. 'After doing a bit of research, I could see that Shirley Ballas had got an amazing result with these treatments and now looks about 10 years younger, so I thought I'd give it a go,' she explained.
The NeoGen treatment represents a non-invasive approach that utilizes super-heated nitrogen gas to stimulate skin rejuvenation. This controlled heating process encourages the skin to produce increased amounts of collagen and elastin, essential proteins responsible for maintaining youthful skin appearance.
Treatment Experience and Visible Results
Dr. Maryam McMillan, who administered the treatments at Ambra Clinic, noted that NeoGen proved ideal for Outhwaite's demanding schedule. 'NeoGen was a good fit for Tamzin because her busy work schedule means she can't afford to have any down-time,' Dr. McMillan explained. 'She would often have filming and auditions which required her to look presentable just 24 hours after a treatment, and that is perfectly possible with NeoGen.'
The treatment protocol involved applying numbing cream for forty minutes before each thirty-minute session, which addressed Outhwaite's neck, chest, and entire facial area including the sensitive eye region. The actress specifically requested focus on her jawline and eye areas where she sought the most improvement.
'After the first three treatments I could really see a major improvement,' Outhwaite shared enthusiastically. 'The general texture of the skin was improved, and where it had looked a bit dull and lifeless before, it was now really radiant and more dewy.'
Embracing Single Life and Career Success
Beyond her cosmetic journey, Outhwaite has been embracing an extended period of single life, describing herself as 'never been happier' despite recently joining a dating app. 'I'm single, I've tried the dating apps. I'm on one now but I keep forgetting to check it,' she admitted in a recent interview. 'I just can't imagine actually going on the date and going back to the small talk.'
The actress, who shot to fame as Mel Owen in EastEnders in 1998, acknowledged this represents the longest stretch she has spent single in her adult life. 'I owe it to myself to be single, because I haven't been single for this long, ever,' she reflected. 'I have always been in relationships. I actually like being on my own, it's really nice.'
Her professional career continues to flourish with recent roles in ITV's The Tower and Channel 5's The Wives, along with a Christmas special appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. Outhwaite has also taken proactive steps with her health, revealing she dropped a dress size before filming The Wives by eliminating alcohol and exercising daily over six weeks.
As a mother to daughters Florence, 17, and Marnie, 12, Outhwaite finds her time fully occupied with parenting responsibilities alongside her acting commitments. Her approach to both personal and professional life reflects a balanced perspective focused on natural solutions and self-acceptance while pursuing measured improvements.
