Tamzin Outhwaite has candidly discussed the challenges of co-parenting with her ex-husband, actor Tom Ellis, following their divorce amid allegations of infidelity. The former EastEnders star revealed the emotional toll their split took on their family but emphasised their commitment to raising their two daughters together.
A Marriage Marred by Betrayal
The couple, who wed in 2006, divorced in 2014 after nine years of marriage. Outhwaite has previously accused Ellis of multiple affairs during their relationship, which she described as being built on "lies and deceit." Despite the painful breakup, the actress insists they have worked hard to maintain a civil relationship for the sake of their children.
Putting the Children First
"Co-parenting isn't easy, especially when there's hurt involved," Outhwaite admitted. "But our girls come first, and we've both made a conscious effort to keep things amicable." The 53-year-old star praised Ellis, best known for his role in Lucifer, for being a "fantastic father" despite their marital struggles.

Now remarried to financier Tom Child, Outhwaite says she's in a much happier place. "Time heals," she reflected. "We've all moved on, and what matters now is creating stability for our daughters."
