Actor Sydney Sweeney has fuelled speculation of a new romance after being photographed cosying up to a mystery man at her family's lake house in Idaho. The 27-year-old star, best known for roles in Euphoria and Anyone But You, was seen enjoying a day on the water with an unidentified companion while on a break from her busy schedule.
Photos published by the Daily Mail show Sweeney in a black bikini steering a jet ski with the man seated behind her, his hands resting on her waist. The pair were also spotted near a rope swing at the property, where Sweeney appeared to be in high spirits, smiling as she used the swing while her companion watched nearby.
The sighting comes months after Sweeney confirmed the end of her seven-year relationship and engagement to film producer Jonathan Davino, 42, during an interview with the Sunday Times in May. The couple, who got engaged three years ago, were rumoured to have split in January and called off a planned May wedding.
A source previously told Us Weekly that Sweeney's demanding career had added tension to her relationship with Davino. 'Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project,' the insider said. Sweeney, who is set to star in the film adaptation of The Housemaid, has since embraced being single.
