At the LA premiere of 'Immaculate', she wore an elaborate white sculpted top by Balmain with floral and hand motifs, while at SXSW she donned a custom Richard Quinn off-the-shoulder white lace gown with thigh-high lace stockings.
The actress also paid homage to Angelina Jolie at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, wearing the same Marc Bouwer gown Jolie wore to the 2004 Oscars. The film 'Immaculate' follows Sweeney's character Cecilia, an American nun who discovers dark secrets at an Italian convent.
In a family touch, both of Sweeney's grandmothers appear as extras in the film, fulfilling one grandmother's dream of visiting Italy. 'Immaculate' is set for release later this year.
