Neil Jones Breaks Silence on Partner Toyah Willcox's 'Annoying' Jibe After Strictly Exit

Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones has opened up about his partnership with Toyah Willcox following their early exit from the competition. The duo became the second couple to leave this year's series after losing a dance-off to Paul Merson and Karen Hauer.

During Movie Week, Toyah performed a samba as Ursula from The Little Mermaid, but the routine was not enough to save them. After the judges' unanimous decision, Toyah took to social media to thank fans and her partner, writing: 'Neil you are my rock xxx.'

Appearing on It Takes Two, Toyah expressed disappointment at leaving early but emphasised the positive experience. 'I've had the most brilliant life-affirming experience in the last two months,' she said. Neil assured her they would stay in touch 'for life,' adding that they had 'really great conversations' during rehearsals.

Toyah, 66, also spoke about challenging age stereotypes, stating: 'We all deserve every day of our life, no matter what age we are, for it to be a positive and brilliant experience.' She hopes her stint inspires those who feel 'age is the end.'
