Strictly Come Dancing professional Nancy Xu has spoken out following her elimination from the competition alongside celebrity partner Will Mellor. The pair were voted off on Monday night, losing the dance-off to Fleur East and Vito Coppola.
Xu expressed her heartbreak at leaving the show just before the final, which takes place on Saturday December 17 at 7.05pm on BBC One. The final will be hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, with judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Anton Du Beke.
The remaining contestants vying for the glitterball trophy are Molly Rainford, Fleur East, Helen Skelton, and Hamza Yassin. According to William Hill, Hamza is the favourite to win with odds of 1/2, followed by Helen at 13/8, Molly at 25/1, and Fleur at 40/1.
Last year's winners were Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, who made history as the first deaf contestant to win the show. The 2021 final saw only two couples compete after AJ Odudu withdrew due to injury.
