Strictly Star 'Honoured' to Play Vital Role at Neil Jones' Wedding After Family Ban
Strictly Stars Witness Neil Jones Wedding After Family Ban

Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones married former Love Island star Chyna Mills in a ceremony at London's Marylebone Town Hall on July 1, 2026. The couple, accompanied by their daughter Havana, exchanged vows four years after meeting. However, the day was overshadowed by the absence of Neil's parents, following Chyna's public allegations of bullying, racism, and disrespect against Neil's mother, Helen, in 2024.

Witnesses Chosen from Strictly Family

Instead of family members, the couple selected former Strictly contestants Tyler West and Molly Rainford as their witnesses. Tyler, 30, and Molly, 25, met on the 2022 series of Strictly and are now engaged. Molly, an EastEnders actress, commented on Instagram: 'Was an honour to be your witness Family 🤍'. Chyna replied: 'Thank you 🤍 love you guys 🥹'. Other pro dancers present included Lauren Oakley, who shared photos of Chyna in a Bardot white gown. Congratulatory messages came from Shirley Ballas, Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, and Fleur East.

Family Feud Details

According to a source cited by The Sun, Neil's parents were not informed of the wedding date or location. The source said: 'The whole thing is a massive shame. Neil's close and extended family were all there when he married his first wife, Katya Jones, in 2013. It makes it even more painful that they have now been cut out completely. Most of them have been blocked by Chyna and Neil, so really have no idea what is going on in their lives at all, let alone about their wedding.' The insider added: 'Everyone feels like Chyna could have shared her concerns in a different way, but instead it's turned into a public matter, and the whole family have been tarred with the same brush.' Despite the rift, the family reportedly hoped the wedding 'went well'.

Chyna's Allegations

In her original Instagram statement, Chyna accused Neil's mother Helen of bullying her 'from the moment I met her'. She claimed Helen ignored her offer to discuss the issue, and the 'final straw' was when the family chose not to attend Havana's baptism. Chyna wrote: 'Havana's baptism was a special day, and his family chose not to attend out of loyalty to her and refused to acknowledge what's unfolded over the past few years. That's on them. But I won't accept negative comments or false narratives about my baby girl's special moments.' Neil's sister Terri defended their mother, telling the Daily Mail that 'the truth will come out eventually'.

Future Celebrations

Despite the family tensions, Neil and Chyna are planning a second wedding celebration in Italy later this month. The couple became engaged in Bali in 2022 and welcomed Havana in October 2023. Neil told Hello! magazine: 'Cuba is the home of dance and very multicultural, so it was perfect – it sums us up.' The choreographer has been part of Strictly for 10 years.
