Strictly Come Dancing could face a significant loss as professional dancer Johannes Radebe is reportedly set to leave the show after seven years, according to new betting odds. The 40-year-old first joined the BBC series in 2018, having previously appeared on the South African version.
Speculation intensified after Radebe and his celebrity partner Alex Kingston were eliminated in week 10. During his farewell speech, Radebe said, 'Goodbye to my Strictly family... I'm forever grateful,' prompting fans to question whether he was bidding a final adieu.
Bookmaker Betway now prices Radebe at 7/4 not to return next year. A spokesperson said: 'Following remarks that fuelled speculation about a potential exit, Johannes Radebe is now priced up at 7/4 to not return... During his farewell... he said, 'Goodbye to my Strictly family,' a comment that left fans wondering.'
Head judge Shirley Ballas has also added to the rumours, stating: 'It is difficult to replace Jojo.' Radebe has not yet addressed the speculation publicly.
The 2025 series final airs tonight, with celebrities Karen Carney, George Clarke and Amber Davies competing for the Glitterball Trophy.
