Strictly Come Dancing professional Carlos Gu has been seen looking almost unrecognisable as he debuted an incredible transformation in photos shared on social media.

Fans best know the professional dancer for being part of the hit BBC One dance programme, having joined back in 2022. After competing with a celebrity partner for his first two series, Carlos was dealt a blow in 2024 when he wasn't given a celebrity to teach. However, last year he was back in the competition, partnered with Karen Carney, who quickly showed promise in week one when she became the first footballer to top the Strictly leaderboard in 18 years.
It was in December, weeks after their first performance together, that Karen and Carlos were seen lifting the show's coveted Glitterball trophy after an emotional final of the 2025 run of the dance contest. It was confirmed earlier this year that Carlos would return for his fifth year as a pro on Strictly, and he reunited with co-stars this week as rehearsals got underway for the 2026 series, which is set to begin in September.
Channeling a Classic Diva
Away from the famous ballroom, Carlos has been spreading his wings as a performer and was recently seen fronting his own one-man show. Now, he's been seen channelling a classic diva as he shared pictures of himself sporting a sparkly black dress, pearls, and an intricate hairdo.
