Loose Women star and mother of five Stacey Solomon has unveiled her incredible body transformation after nine months of dedicated gym work. The 33-year-old shared a mirror selfie on Instagram Stories, showing off her toned stomach and impressive abs in a black workout set.
In the post, Solomon wrote: 'I got up and ran my little bum off today. I'm so proud of myself because I began this little journey basically to get rid of Joe's treadmill and to prove a point, and here I am nine months later. Feeling so buzzing, more awake and alive because of a little bit of exercise a day.' She encouraged others, adding: 'For anyone who thinks they can't, I promise, you can if I can. I was allergic to exercise. One step at a time. You've got this.'
Solomon, who has children Rex, 4, Rose, 2, Belle, 1, and stepchildren Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, admitted on the Energy Equation podcast that she wanted to 'feel athletic again' after feeling unhealthy. She also hopes to avoid mobility issues like those her mother Fiona faces, aiming to 'protect' herself as she ages.
With the support of her personal trainer sister, Samantha Stone, Solomon now regularly attends Barry's Bootcamp and works out at home. She doesn't restrict her diet but cooks from scratch to avoid processed foods. Despite the challenges of juggling family and work, she said: 'This is the time of life where you power through every single second of each waking day... You've just got to suck it up.'
