Stacey Solomon has revealed that her and Joe Swash's daughter Rose was left 'fuming' after discovering she couldn't spot herself in the couple's wedding photographs. Appearing alongside her husband on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Friday, the TV presenter reflected on their upcoming wedding anniversary and the family tradition they have kept since tying the knot.
Family Wedding Traditions
When Jamie pointed out that their anniversary was approaching, Stacey laughed as she momentarily lost track of the date before realising it was almost here. Asked by Amanda Holden how they planned to celebrate, Joe replied: 'Hopefully, hopefully get a bit of time for ourselves.' Stacey explained that they often revisit memories from their big day with their children, saying: 'We always watch our videos, so the kids always ask to watch the wedding video, not the whole thing. But like, there's certain bits that the older boys remember that they find really funny and the little ones, Belle's always like, "Where am I?"'
Rose's Reaction
Amanda then suggested the couple might need to renew their vows, prompting Stacey to share an amusing story about four-year-old Rose. She said: 'Even Rose said to me the other day, she was fuming, wasn't she all morning? She was like, "I'm not in any of your wedding pictures." I said, "You are, Rose. You're just a baby." She said, "That is not me." Absolutely fuming that we didn't invite her to the wedding.'
Stacey and Joe married on July 24, 2022, at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage, after moving into the £1.3 million property in 2021 and transforming it through an extensive renovation.
Family Expansion Plans
Elsewhere in the interview, Amanda couldn't resist asking whether the couple had finished expanding their family. Referring to their bustling household, which includes Zachary, 17, Leighton, 13, Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three, Amanda asked: 'That's it, right? Is that it?' After a brief pause, Stacey replied: 'Yeah,' sparking laughter in the studio as Jamie questioned the hesitation and Amanda joked about the noticeable delay.
Joe admitted he was content with their family as it is, explaining: 'Look, I'm very clear on the matter. I love kids, but, you know, it's not my decision anymore. Stacey's been pregnant for... what? Nearly 10 years! So she needs a break.' Stacey agreed, adding: 'Five times, five times! It's been 10 long years!'
However, Jamie pointed out they still hadn't given a definitive answer, leading Stacey to admit: 'You can never say never, can you?' Amanda, who has two children herself, laughed: 'But you've got a five-a-side team!' Joe had the final joke, replying: 'We could do with a couple of subs though!'
