Stacey Solomon Joe Swash Cryptic on Baby Plans

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash appeared on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Friday morning, where the Britain's Got Talent judge asked if they planned to expand their family further. Stacey gave a cryptic five-word response.

Cryptic Response to Baby Question

After discussing their busy Pickle Cottage home, which the couple shares with five children—Zachary, 17, Leighton, 13, Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three—Amanda cheekily asked: "That's it, right? Is that it?" Stacey hesitated briefly before replying "yeah," sending the studio into giggles. Jamie exclaimed: "Hold on a minute," while Amanda noted Stacey's "pause."

Joe Swash Weighs In

Former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, who also has a 19-year-old son Harry with ex-partner Emma Sophocleous, said: "Look, I'm very clear on the matter. I love kids, but, you know, it's not my decision anymore. Stacey's been pregnant for... what? Nearly 10 years! So she needs a break." Stacey added: "Five times, five times! It's been 10 long years!" Jamie noted they still hadn't given a definitive answer.

Never Say Never

The Sort Your Life Out presenter admitted: "You can never say never, can you?" Amanda, who has two children, agreed and quipped: "But, you've got a five-a-side team!" Joe joked: "We could do with a couple of subs though!" Amanda suggested they might miss having little ones around, but Stacey revealed a plan: "No, we're going with, 'let's rescue animals instead'—adopt some animals!"

Adopting Ponies Instead

The couple have already started, with Stacey announcing on Instagram that they "are officially Pony Foster Parents." She shared a video of ponies Thumbelina and Mermaid, rescued by Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Stacey wrote: "We have a grass area sectioned off for them and also a dry area. Redwings will check in and visit us and give us all the guidance we need to be the best pony parents for Mermaid and Thumbelina." She added: "One of my dearest friends Lianne from the incredible Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is going to be our Pony hand/extra pony Mumma. As we do not take rescuing animals lightly and want to be the absolute best foster parents we can be."
