Stacey Solomon's Emotional Airport Farewell
Stacey Solomon has told fans it has 'hurt her heart' to say goodbye to her son Zachary as she accompanied him to the airport for his next big adventure. The Loose Women star shared a photo of herself and the 18-year-old at the airport, as well as a picture of the teen walking off with his suitcase in hand.
Zachary's Summer at Camp America
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (July 1), Stacey wrote: 'Our Zachary is off to Camp America for the whole summer. Omg Zachy, Pickle Cottage will feel so strange without you for the next five weeks. It hurt my heart to drop you off this morning, but I know you're going to have the best time ever, and that camp is so lucky to have our Zachary in their lives for the summer.' She added: 'Good luck, my darling boy. To the moon and stars and back again. Please tell me why I really wanted him to do this experience & I am so happy for him but also so my gut is in knots??'
Previous Family Trip to Miami
Recently, Zachary said he'll 'never forget' the trip he took with his famous mum and younger brother Leighton. Stacey was invited to join a huge brand trip put together by Space NK, and added Zachary and Leighton on the trip to Miami. The getaway was also attended by Rochelle and Marvin Humes and Olivia Attwood. Zachary shared his own updates, saying: 'I'll never ever forget this. We just landed home & I can't believe what just happened. Thank you, mum, for bringing me & Leight.'
Camp America's Response
Her followers were quick to respond, including Camp America themselves, who said: 'We know today is a big one. We'll be here to support Zach every step of the way. Welcome to the Camp America family - we know he's going to have an unforgettable summer!'
