Stacey Solomon Updates BBC Reality Show With Joe Swash After Marriage Rumours
Stacey Solomon Gives Update on BBC Show With Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon has given an update on her and Joe Swash's family reality show after recently opening up about marriage 'pressures' amid rumours about their relationship. The couple, who married in 2022, faced months of speculation about their relationship being on the rocks, with Stacey even being asked on national TV about not wearing her wedding ring.

Stacey Addresses Speculation

Stacey spoke out about the rumours in a series of videos on her Instagram Story, later telling her millions of followers she was stepping back from sharing on her platform before returning at the end of April. She addressed the speculation on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast with co-star Dilly Carter, saying: "Who cares if the whole world is like: 'Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce?' Being in the public eye, I think, creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they’re saying, 'If we know it’s not true, who cares?'"

Filming for Third Series

Since then, Stacey, Joe, and their family have been busy filming for the next series of their BBC reality show Stacey & Joe, which first aired in 2024. The programme, which ran two series in 2025, follows their lives at Pickle Cottage, documenting the highs and lows of juggling work, parenting, and their growing menagerie of pets.

In an Instagram Story update this week, Stacey informed followers that she and Joe were filming pieces to camera together on the sofa. She explained they had been filming at her neighbour Farmer Scott's and shared a behind-the-scenes picture with a white heart emoji, hinting that recording is ongoing for the show's anticipated return.

BBC Confirms Third Run

The BBC confirmed in April that Stacey & Joe will return for a third series. According to the broadcaster, "the series, which follows the warmth, chaos and humour of family life at Pickle Cottage, follows Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash as they juggle their busiest chapter yet." A synopsis adds that this time, the family dynamic expands beyond the cottage gates as Joe pursues a long-held dream: opening his own fishing lake and glamping site.

Joe hopes the lake will be more than a business, creating a space where young people, particularly teenagers struggling with ADHD or mental health challenges, can spend time by the water. Across three episodes, viewers will follow the highs, setbacks, and humour of a family pulling together to achieve something meaningful, culminating in the grand opening of Joe's fishing lake.

Stacey and Joe said in a joint statement: "If you watched the first series, you'll know we’ve been talking about the lakes for ages… it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life. With the juggle of family life thrown in, we’re learning as we go, so we’ll be just as surprised as everyone else to see how it all unfolds! A huge thank you to everyone who has watched Stacey & Joe so far. We’re so grateful and can’t wait for you to see this next series."
