Stacey Solomon has revealed that everyone on the set of Sort Your Life Out is left feeling 'broken' after the intense seven-day filming schedule. The popular BBC presenter shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse while chatting with her co-star, professional organiser Dilly Carter, on the Sort Your Life Out: Unpacked podcast on May 26.
The Seven-Day Challenge
In the hit BBC show, Stacey and her team help families transform their homes through a life-changing declutter. However, many fans question whether such dramatic results are achievable within the tight timeframe. Stacey addressed this directly, saying: 'Do you really do it all in seven days? And we do, coz legally, we sort your life out in seven days, so we have to do it in seven days. At the end of that week, I always think... I look around, and I'm like, everyone is broken.'
Dilly Carter echoed the sentiment, adding: 'I can never believe how we do that. When we hug each other at the end of the show, we're like, Oh my God. Thank God.' Stacey further revealed that the day before the final reveal is particularly challenging, as she often wonders how they managed to complete the task.
Behind the Scenes
The Sort Your Life Out: Unpacked podcast offered fans a rare glimpse into the production process. Stacey mimicked the voice of a curious fan asking about the seven-day limit, before confirming that the team adheres strictly to the schedule. The physical and emotional toll of the show was evident, but both Stacey and Dilly expressed pride in their accomplishments.
Stacey and Joe's Reality Show
In related news, the future of Stacey and husband Joe Swash's self-titled reality show has been confirmed for a third series. Despite recent speculation about their marriage after Stacey was photographed without her wedding ring, the couple announced that Stacey and Joe will return to document their 'busiest chapter yet'. Joe is reportedly constructing a fishing lake at their family home, a project they have discussed since the first series.
In a joint statement, they said: 'If you watched the first series, you'll know we've been talking about the lakes for ages... it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life. With the juggle of family life thrown in, we're learning as we go, so we'll be just as surprised as everyone else to see how it all unfolds! A huge thank you to everyone who has watched Stacey and Joe so far. We're so grateful and can't wait for you to see this next series.'
Britain's Got Talent Appearance
Joe Swash also shared a 'proud husband' tribute to Stacey after their surprise appearance at the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals. The couple attended with their children to support Braunstone Community Primary School's performance. Stacey expressed her excitement, saying: 'I cannot wait to watch them. I know they're gonna have the time of their lives out there and that's what this show is all about to me. I feel so honoured to be here and I've loved every second of it, good luck everyone tonight.'
Joe posted on Instagram: 'I never take for granted the chance to share moments like this with my family. The kid's excitement means everything. Proud husband @staceysolomon you smashed it. Thank you for having us BGT.'
