Stacey Solomon Defends Holiday After Fans Criticise Cost

Stacey Solomon has defended her family holiday to Turkey after facing backlash from fans who claimed she was 'out of touch'. The 32-year-old Sort Your Life Out star shared snaps from a 10-day trip to the Regnum Carya resort in Antalya, which reportedly costs around £4,000. However, Solomon said she received a discount from her travel agent.

Some followers criticised the 'lavish' nature of the holiday, with one writing: 'Sorry Stacey but an average family could not afford this hotel you are very lucky to be able to afford this.' In response, Solomon told fans they could 'unfollow or just mute me' if her holiday content upset them.

During an Instagram Q&A, Solomon clarified that she has only been on two holidays abroad in the last three years. She said: 'I've only been to two places abroad in the last 3 years so I know nothing but I asked Suzi @trendingtravel & she sent me a link of the deals she thought were good ones.'

The mum-of-five travelled with husband Joe Swash and their children: Belle (five months), Rose (one), Zachary (15), Leighton (11), and Rex (four). Solomon emphasised that she shares her life to 'take you on the adventure with us and hopefully make you smile'.
