Stacey Solomon Channels Pamela Anderson in Red Swimsuit

Stacey Solomon channelled her inner Baywatch as she tried on a bright red swimming costume, joking she went from 'Old Mother Hubbard' to Pamela Anderson. The Sort Your Life Out host, 36, shared her latest Amazon haul on Instagram, thrilled to find swimwear that didn't go 'up the bum or nun'.

Relatable Swimwear Woes

“I either look like Old Mother Hubbard in every swimming costume I've bought for ages, or the nunny part is this big and your flaps hang out the side. And the bum part is even smaller, it's like a G-string, and your bum is hanging out. If I see one more up the bum, up the noon, piece of swimwear, I'm going to lose it. I hate it!” she told fans. She proudly showed off a white stripy one-piece, noting she could comfortably do squats in it.

“I've found something that is a really nice cut, it's got proper stitching which actually holds my big heavy boobs. It comes all the way over my noon and bum, so if I bend over to pick my kids up, you’re not going to see my gooch. It's the nicest swimming costume I've had in a really long time, since I made swimming costumes with InTheStyle actually,” Solomon added. “They are going to be my uniform when I go away. I feel like I can actually do stuff in this, run after my kids and dive in the pool, we can do cartwheels and all that rubbish.”

Family and Fostering Ponies

The Loose Women panellist recently celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with husband Joe Swash after their intimate ceremony at Pickle Cottage in Essex. The couple met on I’m A Celebrity in 2010 and started dating six years later. They have three children together—Rex, Rose and Belle—while Joe is also dad to Harry from a previous relationship, and Stacey shares Zachary and Leighton with her ex.

The pair also revealed they are fostering two ponies, Thumbelina and Mermaid, rescued by Redwings Horse Sanctuary. “We are officially Pony Foster Parents,” Solomon said on Instagram. “Thumbelina was seriously neglected when she was rescued by Redwings who saved her & mermaid’s owner could no longer look after her. So we are so grateful to be able to offer them a home.”
