Slayyyter has made her UK debut performing to a poncho-wearing crowd at Reading Festival.
The popstar, 29, also known as Catherine Garner, took to the Grid stage on Saturday afternoon marking her first major festival show in the UK.
Wearing a tan trench-style belted playsuit with puffed sleeves over a floral-patterned bodice, the singer belted out her hit songs including Dance, Crank, and her recently released song Beat Up Chanels.
Rise to fame and festival tour
The singer rose to fame following her debut set at Coachella earlier this year with one of her songs, Dance, going viral after it was used for a TikTok trend.
She has since hit the stage at string of festivals over the summer touring her third studio album Worst Girl in America, which was released earlier this year.
Upcoming inverse album
Slayyyter also revealed in an interview with The Rolling Stones that she is currently working on an inverse album which has been teased online as being titled Worst Man in America, in which she will flip tracks from the 2026 record.
She has already released its lead track, Brand New Chanels which is the inverse to Beat Up Chanels from her 2026 album.
Another UK festival debut
Another fellow popstar who made her UK festival debut this weekend was Slovak singer-songwriter Adela.
Performing to festival goers in Reading on Friday night, the Ain’t In LA singer brought her set to Leeds on Saturday afternoon wearing a belted blue bra with short denim shorts and an oversized denim jacket.
The 21-year-old rising star, also known as Adela Jergova, rose to fame as a contestant on the X Factor style Netflix competition series The Debut: Dream Academy, competing for the chance to become a member of the group Katseye.
The singer did not win the fan-voted competition, but she appeared in the follow-up series Pop Star Academy: Katseye which documented the contestant’s journey on the programme, earning her a loyal online fanbase which has since helped launch her solo career.
