Sinitta has announced that she and her secret boyfriend have split, just weeks after revealing the relationship. The 62-year-old singer, known for hits like 'So Macho', had kept her romance private for years before confirming it on a recent episode of Loose Women.
During the Bank Holiday edition of the ITV show, Sinitta disclosed that she had been dating a man not in showbusiness, describing him as a 'Leeds lad' with a great sense of humour. However, she explained that they decided to 'step back' when she entered the I'm A Celebrity...South Africa jungle, and the relationship has now ended.
Sinitta said she wanted to protect her partner from the pressures of showbiz, adding: 'I found my little Harry Redknapp.' The singer previously had a long-term on-off relationship with Simon Cowell, which ended in 2013, and was married to Andy Willner from 2002 to 2010.
Speaking about her split from Cowell, Sinitta admitted she 'genuinely believed they were going to get married' but acknowledged he was not faithful. She now says she was 'the right person for a time' but that Cowell has found his 'proper person' with Lauren Silverman.
