Sienna Miller Shares First Photos of Newborn Baby

Sienna Miller has shared the first photographs of her newborn baby with partner Oli Green, offering a glimpse into the birth and early days of her third child. The 44-year-old actor revealed her pregnancy last December and gave birth in May, before posting a series of emotional images on Instagram.

Captioning the post with a single word, "Adulting," Miller included a photo of herself lying in bed with her bare pregnant belly, seemingly taken just before delivery. Another image showed her boyfriend Oli Green, who appeared in the Netflix series The Crown, crying while holding their newborn topless, engaging in skin-to-skin contact. Additional pictures captured Miller cuddling her baby in a hospital bed and the family adjusting to life at home.

Celebrity Support and Reactions

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooded the comments with support. Paloma Faith, star of Celebrity Traitors, responded to the "Adulting" caption: "Don't be silly you are a teen mum like me ! Round three here toooooo!" Cat Deeley commented "Gorgeous," Laura Whitmore said "Well done mama xx," and Sadie Frost simply wrote "Lovely."

Miller had previously announced the birth to E! News, stating: "It's happened. I have a tiny baby next door." She added, "It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging. I'm on very little sleep but I'm madly in love with my baby." The actor is also mother to Marlowe, 13, with ex Tom Sturridge, and a two-year-old daughter (whose name has not been publicly shared) with Green, 29.

Motherhood in Her 40s

Miller has spoken about finding motherhood easier in her 40s compared to her first experience at age 29. In an interview with Glamour magazine, she said: "Having had a baby at 29, and then having a baby at 42, and now 44, it's so much easier when you don't have the conflict of feeling scattered and like you want to be doing X, Y, Z." She added: "If I'm in bed at 9 p.m. with a book, I'm so happy now. And now I've got the excuse to do it. Life is in a more grounded space."

Miller reflected on the societal narrative around older motherhood: "We don't judge men who are having kids in their 80s. Why on earth is there any sort of narrative?"

Freezing Eggs and Past Reflections

Four years ago, at age 40, Miller revealed she had frozen her eggs to preserve the option of having more children. She told British Vogue in November 2022: "I'd invested what felt like the important years in something that was just a bucket with a hole in it of a person. I wasted time. And I felt like time was really my currency." She added: "There was a lot of anxiety. Relationships hadn't worked out. I imagined that I would be married with three kids, being a great mum."
