Sienna Miller has revealed she “broke down” after an “absolute disaster” of a transatlantic flight with her toddler and newborn baby. The 44-year-old actress, who recently welcomed her third child with boyfriend Oli Green, 29, opened up about the ordeal during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Miller, who also has a 13-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with ex Tom Sturridge, and a two-year-old daughter with Green, said the toddler was harder to manage than her teenage daughter. “I would have said the teenage girl would be harder to juggle until the transatlantic flight I took yesterday with the toddler and the newborn. The toddler now wins hands down,” she explained. “It was an absolute disaster. There’s no negotiating. I got to the immigration line and just broke down.”
The star returned to work just three weeks after giving birth to promote her new film Jack Ryan: Ghost War. She admitted to Fallon that she was running on very little sleep but was “madly in love” with her baby. Earlier in May, Miller announced the birth of her third child, saying: “It’s happened. I have a tiny baby next door.”
In a previous interview with Glamour Magazine, Miller said she found having children after 40 much easier than in her twenties. “Having had a baby at 29, and then having a baby at 42, and now 44, it’s so much easier when you don’t have the conflict of feeling scattered,” she said. “By the time you hit 40, you’re like, ‘I know who I am and I don’t really give a s*** about what anyone else thinks.’”
Miller also revealed she froze her eggs at 40 because she wanted a bigger family. “I’d invested what felt like the important years in something that was just a bucket with a hole in it of a person. I wasted time,” she told British Vogue in 2022.
