Former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty has arrived in Australia ahead of the new series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, which begins on Sunday, November 16. The 34-year-old was spotted at Brisbane Airport, where she joked about taking a 'wrong flight' to Austria.
When asked what she would miss about the UK, McGarty replied: 'Not a lot. I really want to see a kangaroo. I've never seen one in my life.' She is the third rumoured contestant to land in Australia, following fellow soap star Lisa Riley, who arrived earlier on November 9.
Other celebrities expected to appear include Loose Women's Kelly Brook, YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, musician Martin Kemp, comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott, and Jack Osbourne. They may be joined by comedian Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams.
ITV is set to formally announce the line-up next week, with two names missing as they are expected to enter the jungle as latecomers. Kelly Brook, also spotted at the airport, joked about visiting a 'distant cousin' in Australia and expressed excitement about seeing koalas and kangaroos.
The show has faced a chaotic week, with reports that LBC's Nick Ferrari pulled out of talks to join after his radio bosses matched his jungle fee. I'm a Celebrity returns on ITV1 and ITVX on November 16.
