Shiloh Jolie, the 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has appeared in a teaser for K-pop singer Dayoung's upcoming music video. Jolie is among a group of backing dancers in a choreographed sequence for Dayoung's single 'What's a Girl to Do,' set for release on Tuesday.
The short teaser shows Jolie with slicked-back hair, wearing a lacy brown top and hoop earrings. Dayoung's label, Starship Entertainment, said Jolie was cast through an open audition process and they were unaware of her famous parents. A spokesperson told Maeil Business: 'We held an open audition in the US to cast performers for Dayoung's music video. Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining the video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.'
Online reactions have focused on Jolie's resemblance to her mother. One user on X wrote: 'Literally looks exactly like her momma, oh my god.' Another said: 'Shiloh inherited Angelina Jolie's star power, because she appeared here for like a millisecond but got everyone talking about her.'
Jolie legally dropped Pitt from her surname after turning 18 in 2024. In the press release for the music video, she was listed as 'Shi Joli.' A representative later clarified that Shiloh prefers to be credited as Shi or Shi Jolie. She has previously choreographed a routine for musician Luella's single 'Naïve' and attended a fashion event last year.
