Shaughna Phillips Reveals Unborn Baby's Gender in Emotional Video

Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has announced the gender of her second child in a sweet video alongside her boyfriend, Billy Webb, who is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for Class A drug offences. The 31-year-old, who already shares two-year-old daughter Lucia with Webb, shared the footage on Instagram, carefully blocking out her partner's face to maintain his privacy.

In the clip, filmed in her back garden, the couple are seen snuggled together with little Lucia, who excitedly opens a box to reveal a pink cuddly bunny and a fluffy pink pram suit, confirming they are expecting another girl. The emotional moment drew congratulations from famous friends, including former TOWIE star Billie Shepherd and Gogglebox's Ellie Warner.

Shaughna, who announced the pregnancy in June after Webb was allowed a brief home visit, told the Mirror that she had planned the conception by tracking her ovulation. She admitted she was stunned at how quickly it happened, saying: 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home. I was like, ‘You know what? Why not? Let's just see’. And literally, the next day, I said to Billy, ‘I think I’m pregnant.’' Her intuition was confirmed ten days later with multiple positive tests.

Webb, jailed in 2023, is currently permitted home visits for a few days each month. Shaughna revealed that he is due for early release and is expected to be home before the baby arrives. 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen,' she said. 'But hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.'

After missing out on the newborn stage with Lucia, Shaughna is looking forward to having Webb by her side this time. 'He definitely wanted another one. He didn't get that newborn experience [with Lucia] and I think that's what he wanted,' she shared, adding wryly that she wants him to 'experience the newborn stage and everything it has to offer, because he does not know what is coming his way.'
