Sharon Osbourne had a perfect five-word response to her son Jack's baby news, writing on Instagram: 'Another Osbourne on the way!' The message accompanied photos of Jack and his wife Aree, with Sharon expressing her joy with praying hands and angel emojis.
Jack, 40, revealed his wife Aree is 28 weeks pregnant with their second child together, following daughter Maple, born in 2022. The news comes after the death of his father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, in July, with Jack describing the pregnancy as 'a healthy distraction' and 'healing' for the family.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Jack said: 'It's awesome. I think it's partly a healthy distraction, partly healing – probably in that kind of full cycle category.' He added that the news has shifted focus from grief to hopefulness, though admitted it has been harder for his wife.
The couple are keeping the baby's gender a secret. Jack already has three children – Pearl, Andy Rose, and Minnie – with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly, from whom he separated in 2018. The former couple also lost a baby boy, Theo, in 2013.
Fans congratulated the family on social media, with one writing: 'Congrats to you guys! So happy for you.' Another commented: 'Such happy news! So glad you guys are ending the year on a high.'
