Sharon Osbourne 'Very Fragile' After Ozzy's Death, Friends Fear

Friends of Sharon Osbourne have expressed deep concern for her wellbeing, describing her as “very, very fragile” following the death of her husband Ozzy Osbourne. The couple, who married in 1982, had been together for nearly 40 years.

Ozzy, the former Black Sabbath frontman, died on July 22 at his home in Buckinghamshire after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, diagnosed in 2003. His condition had affected his mobility and speech, and he had used a wheelchair earlier this year. Despite doctors’ warnings, he travelled from Los Angeles to the UK last month to spend his final weeks at the family’s 350-acre estate.

An insider told MailOnline: “There was no infection we knew of. We all understood he was nearing the end. In the end, he died peacefully at home surrounded by family.” Sharon had been determined to bring Ozzy back from LA, wanting him to spend his last days in familiar surroundings.

Those close to Sharon say she may be “too frail” to organise a large public funeral and could opt for a private ceremony in the gardens of their estate. “She is very, very fragile. We’re all terrified about how she will manage in the coming weeks,” the source added. “Sharon is being supported by loved ones, but the heartbreak is immense.”

The family’s circle is rallying around Sharon as she faces life without her husband, hoping she finds strength in the days ahead.
