Love Island's Sharon Gaffka Expecting First Baby With Fiancé Matthew Torbitt

Former Love Island star Sharon Gaffka has announced she is expecting her first child with fiancé Matthew Torbitt, just three months after getting engaged. The 30-year-old shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of the couple holding a fictional newspaper titled 'The Gaffka-Torbitt Times' with a baby scan on the front page and the headline 'Due July 2026.'

Sharon captioned the post: 'When I thought I was going to be spending my 30th birthday weekend with my head in a toilet…this isn't quite what I had in mind! Baby Gaffka-Torbitt is on their way.' Matthew, a political commentator, also shared the news on X, writing: 'Breaking News: Matthew Torbitt and Sharon Gaffka are expanding their coalition. Majority expected: 2026.'

On her Instagram Stories, Sharon revealed she suffered severe morning sickness in December, forcing her to cancel her birthday celebrations. She wrote: 'Throwback to December, when I'd planned a huge girlie weekend away to celebrate my 30th... But instead, I was busy making a human out of @nandosuk mash and @dashdrinks cans of water.' She added that she was 'vomiting all day everyday' and experienced dry skin that made her cry.
