Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's Premarital Counselling Revealed

Chris Pratt has opened up about the premarital counselling he and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger undertook before their 2019 wedding. The couple, who married at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Santa Monica, completed six sessions as part of the mandatory Pre-Cana programme.

Speaking on Rob Lowe's podcast, Pratt explained that the sessions covered potential points of conflict, including the timing of Christmas celebrations. 'One of them was that we were gonna play Christmas music on November 1, and that we were gonna take the Christmas tree down December 26,' he said.

The actor described the counselling as 'diffusing a bomb' in a way that prevents arguments. 'If you agree on it, you move on. But if there's things you disagree on, you hash it out,' he added, recommending the process for all couples.

Schwarzenegger has also spoken about seeking help from a step-parenting coach before marrying Pratt, who shares son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris. 'Step-parenting is extra confusing because you aren't a parent, you're not a nanny, you're not an assistant,' she said on a podcast in July.
