Scarlett Moffatt has shared an update on her wedding plans, revealing she has booked a venue but admits the timeline may be tight. The former Gogglebox star, who became engaged to Scott Dobinson in November 2023, told new magazine: 'We booked a date and I can't tell you how excited I am! I've just booked a venue for seven months' time, I've been so busy filming.' She added: 'I've booked it for too soon because the lead time on dresses and stuff is like from 12 months on.'
The TV personality, who has a two-year-old son Jude with Dobinson, reflected on how parenthood has changed their relationship. 'Scott and I are getting married soon, and it's changed our relationship. I look at him when he's with Jude and it makes me think, I definitely made the right choice. It makes me love him more,' she said.
Moffatt, who will front the upcoming Channel 4 documentary '10 Days to 10K', also discussed her decision to remain living in the North East. 'It's home and it's the best place ever! Ant and Dec did it for me. When I watched SM:TV Live for the first time I remember thinking, "Wow! If I want to be on the telly then I can because they sound like me!"' she explained.
The star addressed recent comments about her appearance, stating: 'Honestly, I've not lost any weight! I don't know if it's just because I'm happy, my cortisol levels are down and I'm not as bloated.' She described the compliments as 'unjust' but said she would 'take the compliment'.
