Samantha Fox and Wife's Loving Stage Moment After Turbulent Year
Samantha Fox's loving stage moment with wife after detox

Former Page 3 icon Samantha Fox and her wife, Linda Birgitte Olsen, displayed their rekindled affection for all to see during a New Year's Eve performance in Germany. The couple, who faced significant personal challenges last year, appeared more loved-up than ever during the Schlager boom event at Munich's BMW Park.

A Public Display of Renewed Affection

While performing alongside German TV host Florian Silbereisen on Wednesday evening, the 59-year-old singer and her Norwegian tour manager wife were captured sharing a tender kiss on stage. Fox cut a glamorous figure in a form-fitting red dress adorned with black lace and a red jewel choker, while Olsen looked equally stunning in a glitzy ensemble.

This public moment of intimacy comes after a notably difficult period for the pair. Their relationship was thrust into the spotlight in April 2024 when Fox appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court. She was accused of assaulting Olsen during a drunken altercation on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Munich in December the previous year, an incident which forced the plane to abandon its take-off.

Healing and Transformation in Thailand

In the months following the flight incident and ahead of the court case, Samantha Fox sought solace and transformation at a health retreat. She spent 11 days at the Health Oasis Resort on Koh Samui, Thailand, embarking on a rigorous detox programme.

"Not only do you detox your body and lose weight, I'll tell you that you will lose weight, you will go home feeling so much better," Fox reflected on Instagram in April 2024. "I really feel healed. I feel so positive." She revealed she had not eaten solid food for the entire 11-day stay, breaking her fast with a vegan meal of tahini and grains.

The specific programme she followed, the Photonic Atomic programme, claims to address systemic conditions like stubborn weight gain. Lasting between 5 to 28 days, the retreat can cost from £1,334 to £4,274. Fox's 11-day stay was estimated to cost around £2,114, including a discount.

Overcoming Personal and Legal Challenges

The court case marked a low point in a year of ups and downs. At the hearing, Fox admitted to being drunk and disorderly and using threatening behaviour towards a police officer following the plane incident. However, she pleaded not guilty to assaulting her wife. A trial for that charge is set for September 2nd.

Fox's personal life has seen profound tragedy alongside her recent challenges. She met Linda Olsen a year after the death of her former partner, Myra Stratton, from cancer. The couple eventually married in a lavish Eurovision-themed ceremony in Essex in June 2022, after postponing their original 2020 plans due to the pandemic.

Reflecting on her sexuality in the past, Fox has said, "I just believe that love is far greater than anything. You can't help who you fall in love with." Her relationship with Olsen, a mother-of-two, was revealed in 2018. Following her time in Thailand and her positive New Year's appearance, Fox stated she felt "ready" and had "never felt so good" to face the future.
