Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has been seen enjoying what was said to be the last night of her trip to Los Angeles, having attended the star-studded wedding of The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy.
Wedding Details
The singer, 37, married American model Gabbriette, 28, on Saturday (July 18) in LA. A statement from the couple’s representatives said: "Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel were married yesterday at a private ceremony in Los Angeles, attended by their family and close friends."
Matty's mother, Loose Women star Denise Welch, has already given some details of the celebrations. Posting photos and videos with a group of her friends on Instagram, she captioned one: "This weekend was the most magical 3 days of my life!!! I can’t wait to share it with you!"
Coronation Street Reunion
Tagging her friends, who included her former Corrie co-star Sally, she added: “All the aunties together in LA." And it comes after Sally was spotted across the pond with another Corrie alum, Angela Lonsdale.
Sally is famed for playing Sally Metcalfe - nee Webster - in the ITV, having made her debut back in 1986, with the character becoming much-loved over the years for her comedy appeal and status as a street busybody. Meanwhile, Angela found fame as cobbles policewoman, and Curly Watts' second wife, Emma Taylor, who met Curly when she arrived to investigate crimes in the area, from 2000 to 2003.
Meanwhile, Denise, who is probably now best known for being a panellist on Loose Women, once played man-eating Rovers Return landlady from 1997 to 2000.
Last Night in LA
Last week, Sally, Denise and Angela were seen posing for sun-soaked snaps together by a pool, Angela shared on Instagram: "The Girl Band are back together @denise_welch @sallydynevor! @lincolntownley#havingthetimeofourlives."
Now, Angela has shared a string of pictures in a video montage, showing how she and Sally spent their last evening together in LA, following the recent wedding celebrations.
Captioning the post, the soap star wrote: "Memories made on the last night in LA with my sister from another mister @sallydynevor and the perfect end to what can only be described as one of the best weeks of our lives with the people we love. LA you have been everything and more and thank you so much @trumanblack @gabbriette @denise_welch @lincolntownley #timhealy @healytymd and all our gang for memories we will treasure forever and a day ! Until the next time LA La land #itsbeenemotional."
Relationship Timeline
Matty and Gabbriette were first linked months after he split from Taylor Swift, whom he dated for a few months in 2023. Gabbriette sparked rumours of their engagement after posting a photo of her wearing a large black ring on her ring finger on Instagram in June 2024.
She wrote: "Marrying The 1975 is very brat." Healy, who was tagged in the post, also re-posted the photo on his own story. The next day, Denise confirmed the news on Loose Women and said: "I obviously have known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged."
They went over to see their friends Charli (XCX) and George (Daniel) in New York…and I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram." She added: "I couldn’t be more thrilled. We couldn’t be happier – she is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law. I’m thrilled."
