Off-screen, Sally has been married to Tim Dynevor since 1995. Tim is an accomplished screenwriter who contributed to the ITV soap Emmerdale, penning over 2,000 episodes from 1995 to 2016, according to IMDb. His final credited episode aired in January 2016, focusing on Diane Sugden and Adam Barton. He also worked on series such as The Drowning and Desperate Measures.
