Sacha Baron Cohen Spotted Selling Drugs at Wimbledon

Sacha Baron Cohen was spotted at Wimbledon on Sunday, reviving his iconic character Ali G and jokingly offering to 'sell drugs' to spectators at the men's singles final. The appearance has fueled speculation that a new Ali G film is in the works, with reports indicating production has already wrapped.

Cohen arrived at the All England Club in a white and green tennis-inspired tracksuit emblazoned with 'Da Championshipz' and a leaf design on the badge. He was later seen in a sharp suit, mingling with fans and posing for photos. During the match, where Jannik Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev, Ali G was spotted in the crowd wearing his signature yellow and black sunglasses and a gold chain.

New Ali G Film Rumors

The appearance comes amid reports that a new Ali G film has already completed filming. According to sources, the project is in the can, though no official release date has been announced. The previous Ali G film, 2002's Ali G Indahouse, grossed £17 million at the box office.

The character first emerged on Channel 4's The 11 O'Clock Show in 1998 before headlining Da Ali G Show in the early 2000s. Cohen retired Ali G in 2007, stating the character had become too recognizable. Since then, Ali G has made sporadic appearances, including at the 2012 British Comedy Awards and the 2015 Oscars, and most recently at The Comedy Store in Sydney in 2021.
