Sabrina Carpenter has finally revealed what she wore to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's star-studded wedding, which took place at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday. The pop star shared a glimpse of her gothic-inspired outfit on Instagram, featuring a black lace dress with a matching skirt and a small pink rose embellished on the chest.
Wedding Details Emerge
The wedding was shrouded in mystery, with the couple choosing the iconic venue to shield guests from cameras. Security was tight, but in the days following, attendees have taken to social media to share details. Taylor walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of her hit "Love Story," while Sir Paul McCartney serenaded the couple with a Beatles classic at the reception.
Good Morning America host Robin Roberts confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed, and that while there were around 1,000 guests, the service felt "intimate." George Stephanopoulos remarked, "It's hard to imagine that a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate."
Venue Transformation
Madison Square Garden was transformed into a whimsical countryside theme, described by insiders as "Alice in Wonderland meets Wizard of Oz." The 19,500-capacity venue was draped in peach and white, with large photos of Taylor and Travis at each age. AMC CEO Adam Aron, in a now-deleted post on X, said the venue was "devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game ever shared the space." He added that an outdoor garden with real flowers and artificial trees was created, with 15 rows of about 75 chairs.
Vows and Performances
Both Taylor and Travis wrote their own vows, which Aron described as "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent, and endearing." He noted, "What was clear above all else was simply this: their profound love. This is no small love." Celebrations continued into the early hours, with a lineup that rivaled major festivals.
