Gogglebox fans have expressed their delight as a beloved duo made their return to the show on Friday evening. Rylan Clark and his mother Linda were absent from the first episode of the new series but have now made their eagerly awaited comeback.
Fan Favourites Return
The hit Channel 4 programme, which first aired nearly seven years ago, returned last week with a fresh series. During the opening episode, viewers were treated to a host of familiar faces, including Shaun Ryder and Mark 'Bez' Berry, Vicky Pattison and Pete Wicks, and Jennifer Saunders alongside her daughter Beattie. New additions to the line-up included George Clarke and Max Balegde, Julian Clary and Nigel Havers, and Olivia Attwood with her mother Jennifer. However, one popular pairing was notably missing: Rylan and Linda Clark.
Rylan and Linda first appeared on the show in 2019 and have since become regulars. Although they sat out the series premiere, they made their highly anticipated return this Friday, June 12.

Posting a clip to Instagram, the 37-year-old presenter announced: “Guess who's back on Gogglebox... It's Linda! We are very excited to be back this Friday night.” Turning the camera towards his mum, Rylan asked if she was looking forward to returning, and she enthusiastically confirmed. He ended the video by saying: “Right, we'll see you Friday night!”
The post quickly garnered an outpouring of support from fans. One viewer wrote: “Love you guys. So good to see you back and looking lovely as always.” Another commented: “Hey Linda, about bl**dy time.” A further fan said: “Glad you are both back, was hoping you would.” Another remarked: “I wondered where you guys were last week!!! Good to have you back again. Love your banter.”
Someone else posted: “Delighted to hear this news - missed the pair of you last week and was hoping you would be back.” As yet another added: “Good to see you back Linda..and Rylan of course.
