Ruth Langsford Finds Her Light Two Years After Eamonn Holmes Split

Ruth Langsford has spoken positively about her life in 2026, two years after her marriage to Eamonn Holmes ended. The 66-year-old presenter, who turned 66 earlier this year, said she has 'found the light' after a difficult period. Her bestselling book, Feeling Fabulous, was released in February, and she continues to work on Loose Women and her clothing range on QVC.

Reflecting on the split, which was announced in May 2024 after 14 years of marriage, Langsford said: 'I've always been a very independent woman... I just have to get on with my life and make my own happiness.' She added: 'They say time is a great healer, and that always sounds like a bit of a cliche, but I really believe it is.'

Langsford credited therapy with helping her move on. Her therapist advised her to 'find your light', which she now feels she has done. 'I feel like I've come out through the worst of it really now,' she said. The book tour for Feeling Fabulous saw fans sharing their own experiences, which Langsford described as 'stunning'.

Despite personal challenges, including her mother's Alzheimer's disease, Langsford remains upbeat. 'You put your best foot forward, as my dad would say, and you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and on you go,' she said. She also praised her support network of friends, her son, and her dog.
