ITV star Ruth Langsford has marked her 66th birthday with a trip to the South of France, sharing a photo of herself enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine. The Loose Women and This Morning presenter posted the image on Instagram, writing: 'So this is 66! Spending my birthday with friends in the sunshine in the South of France. Bliss! Happy St. Patrick’s Day.'
In the picture, Langsford wore a white t-shirt and beige blazer, paired with large black sunglasses and chunky gold earrings, as she sat outside a bar. The post quickly attracted birthday messages from fellow TV personalities, including Rylan Clark, who called her 'my TV mum', and Amanda Holden, who described her as 'the best woman'. Comedian Dawn French and Gogglebox star Izzi Warner also sent their wishes.
Langsford recently completed a book tour for her debut autobiography, 'Feeling Fabulous', which was released on February 26, 2026. The tour included a visit to Neston Club in Parkgate, Wirral. She thanked fans on social media, noting the book had reached number two on the Sunday Times Bestsellers List.
The presenter split from broadcaster Eamonn Holmes in 2024 after a 27-year partnership and 14 years of marriage. In her autobiography, she opened up about her personal journey.
