Ruth Langsford and Stepson Niall Holmes Attend Wimbledon Together
Ruth Langsford was spotted with her stepson Niall Holmes at Wimbledon on Wednesday (July 1, 2026), as guests of Emirates, the official airline partner of the tennis tournament. The outing comes ahead of her and Eamonn Holmes' reported £10 million divorce proceedings in the High Court.
Ruth and Eamonn announced their shock split in 2024 after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together. Ruth has since opened up about being single again, while Eamonn has moved on with girlfriend Katie Alexander. Despite the difficult divorce, which is not yet finalized, Ruth and Niall appeared on good terms, beaming for photos together.
Family Dynamics Amid Divorce
Ruth and Eamonn share a son, Jack. Eamonn has three children—Niall, Declan, and Rebecca—from his previous marriage to first wife Gabrielle. It has been reported that Eamonn's children expressed sympathy for Ruth after the split. In a Father's Day post, Eamonn gushed over his children, writing: "This is my Four. Niall, Jack, Rebecca and Declan. Proud to have them as my Children and I can only hope I make them proud to have me as their Dad."
Ruth's Reflections on the Split
In her memoir Feeling Fabulous, Ruth discussed the emotional impact of the separation. She wrote: "The biggest emotion that threatened to swallow me up in the early days was sadness. When you have been with somebody for a long time - 26 years in our case - and had imagined what your future would look like, there is a sense of deep loss." She added that she expected to be with Eamonn "forever" and found the split "incredibly hard to come to terms with." Ruth concluded: "Suddenly, life was different, with no clue what the months and years ahead would look like. I am not happy my marriage is over, but I have accepted it. I think this has been the biggest turning point for me because fighting against the inevitable is exhausting and pointless."
