Ruby Wax Slams ITV's 'Trash' Hotel Ahead of I'm A Celebrity Jungle Entry
Ruby Wax calls I'm A Celebrity hotel 'trash' before jungle

Comedian and actress Ruby Wax has launched a scathing attack on ITV, labelling the Australian hotel they arranged for her before her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! stint as 'trash'.

Jungle Anticipation Over Hotel Disappointment

The 72-year-old television personality, who is set to enter the jungle this Sunday, did not hold back when expressing her disappointment to the Daily Mail about her accommodation. She revealed she has been staying at the hotel since her arrival on Tuesday and is already lodging complaints and changing rooms.

Ruby Wax stated, 'I am looking forward to getting into the Jungle because this hotel is trash.' This surprising admission highlights her immediate dissatisfaction with the pre-show arrangements made by the broadcaster.

A Star-Studded Line-Up and Candid Confessions

Wax is part of a high-profile line-up for the new series of the ITV reality show. She will be joining Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp, 64, model and television presenter Kelly Brook, 41, and Twitch sensation AngryGinge (Morgan Burtwistle), 25.

Known for her outspoken nature and having interviewed figures like OJ Simpson, Sarah Ferguson, and Donald Trump, Wax confirmed she will speak about them all during her time in the jungle. 'Oh they will come out of my mouth,' she said, adding about the former US President, 'Donald Trump I do not think is too worried. I think there is a whole country that might agree with me.'

Personal Motivations and Family Dynamics

The comedian also revealed her personal reasons for signing up for the challenging show, citing 'dietary reasons'. She confessed, 'I am kind of chubby now, you know, the stomach is over the top of the jeans. The idea that I am going to wear a swimsuit and people are going to see that, is mortifying.'

In a characteristically humorous and self-deprecating moment, Wax opened up about her relationship with her three children – Max, 35, Maddy, 26, and Marina, 23. She shared that they are often 'embarrassed' by her. 'My children were horrified, because I am in total embarrassment to them in general,' she said. 'My existence is mortifying to my children. The fact that I breathe is an embarrassment.'

The full I'm A Celebrity 2025 line-up promises a diverse mix of personalities, ensuring plenty of drama and entertainment when the show launches from the Australian jungle this Sunday on ITV.
