A new three-part documentary series, The Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, airs tonight on BBC Two at 9pm, exposing the hidden horror behind the picture-perfect image created for the cameras by parenting blogger Ruby Franke.
At its peak, Ruby Franke's parenting YouTube channel was earning £100,000 a month. However, as the documentary series shows, her ostensibly model family was a house of cards. As her ex-husband puts it: "The devil knocked and we opened the door." Their downfall culminated in Franke's arrest for child abuse in 2023 after her emaciated son escaped and summoned help. Thanks to the plentiful footage recorded by Franke herself, it's easy to sense the roots of this horror.

The Chase Around the World airs on ITV1 at 9pm. The shrewd expansion of the Chase universe into a travel contest with a general knowledge quiz attached continues. This time, the teams are in Barcelona where they must answer questions that will help them navigate the city and avoid the flight home. The last-placed team face a terrifying head-to-head showdown with the Chasers.
The Traitors Canada airs on BBC Three at 9pm. The Canadian version sees actor Karine Vanasse taking the Claudia Winkleman role. Expect poker faces, big buildings, gratuitous shower scenes and lots of Lana Del Rey-esque cover versions of songs. The Traitorfication of telly (hi Nobody's Fool) continues apace.
Who Do You Think You Are? airs on BBC One at 9pm. Actor Adeel Akhtar's maternal family originally hailed from India, but his mother came to the UK from Kenya. The explanation of how and why is like the plot of a sweeping doorstopper novel, with the road leading to Mombasa and Nairobi – the latter city being, at the dawn of the 20th century, blighted by the threat of colonial segregation.
The Five-Star Weekend airs on Sky Atlantic at 9pm. Surely, the impending revelation that Gigi (Gemma Chan) had an affair with the recently dead husband of Hollis (Jennifer Garner) is going to blow up this perfect girls' weekend? But while we wait for that to happen, it's a whole load of fun watching the rest of this wealthy group of women slowly reveal their own secrets. Moreish summer fun that slips down far too easily.
CIA airs on Sky Witness at 9pm. This spin-off of long-running US police procedural FBI gets a belated UK air date. Its dynamic is very much an odd-couple cop duo, with by-the-book FBI agent Bill Goodman partnered up with loose-cannon CIA case officer Colin Glass. Will they find the stolen top-secret weapon before they drive each other up the wall?
