Rosie Kelly, the only daughter of ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly, has announced she has married her long-term partner Steve White. The couple tied the knot over the weekend, sharing the news on social media on Tuesday, July 28.
The wedding comes two years after Steve proposed, while the couple were preparing to welcome their first child together. Their engagement was announced in 2024, with Rosie posting a series of photographs that included a close-up of her engagement ring as she cradled her baby bump. Alongside the images, she wrote: "There are too many lovely things going on and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. Everyone always told me you'll know when it's about to happen but I had absolutely no idea, but I have a lifetime to get you back @stevewhite94."
Growing family
Just two months after the engagement, the couple welcomed their daughter, Billie, on August 29, making Lorraine a grandmother for the first time. Now, Rosie has confirmed she and Steve have officially become husband and wife.
While the couple have not yet shared photographs from the ceremony or details of the celebrations, Rosie gave followers a glimpse into the aftermath of the big day, The Mirror reported. Posting on her Instagram Story, she shared a photograph from her hotel room in Edinburgh as she reflected on the wedding weekend.
She wrote: "Well we got married... Decompressing in Edinburgh after the most special weekend of our lives, will share more soon but taking the time to just soak it all up."
Lorraine's joy as grandmother
Lorraine has not yet publicly commented on her daughter's wedding, but she has frequently spoken about how much she enjoys being a grandmother. The presenter has previously described becoming a granny as one of the happiest moments of her life, saying it had encouraged her to spend more time with the people who matter most. She said: "Don't go out with people you don't like, spend more time babysitting!"
Speaking about granddaughter Billie, Lorraine added: "Billie's so gorgeous. She's crawling, nearly walking, she's talking rubbish and she's wonderful. Her lovely little face lights up when she sees me, she's my wee sunshine. She's got such a great temperament. Sometimes she calls me Banana, sometimes it's Nana. I don't care, I'll answer to anything."
Rosie has kept much of her relationship out of the spotlight over the years, but has occasionally shared updates with followers, including news of her engagement, the birth of Billie and now her wedding, marking another major milestone for the growing family.
