David Beckham has been pictured enjoying a father-son skiing trip with his second son Romeo, as the family's feud with eldest son Brooklyn continues to simmer. The former England captain shared snaps from Island Lake Lodge in British Columbia, Canada, where the pair spent four days navigating the slopes.
The outing comes weeks after Brooklyn, 25, made a dramatic public statement alleging that his parents, David and Victoria, had controlled media narratives about the family and tried to 'ruin' his relationship with his wife Nicola Peltz. In a lengthy Instagram post, he also claimed Victoria 'danced very inappropriately' after 'hijacking' his first dance at his wedding.
David's ski trip with Romeo, 23, appeared to be a deliberate show of unity, with the former Manchester United star captioning his post: 'Every year I try to take 4 days in the mountains in Fernie British Columbia... thank you to everyone at Island Lake Lodge for always making it so special!' Victoria left several heart emojis in the comments.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn added further fuel to the fire over Mother's Day weekend by snubbing his own mother in favour of paying tribute to his mother-in-law Claudia Heffner Peltz. He shared a photo of himself, Nicola and Claudia, writing: 'Happy birthday to the best mother in law... hope u had the most amazing day.' No mention was made of Victoria.
David, however, made sure to honour his wife, posting a separate tribute thanking her for being 'the most amazing mummy' and saying she was 'an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be'. The Beckhams have otherwise tried to present a united front, with David and Victoria attending Paris Fashion Week alongside Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
