Rolf Harris Documentary 'Primetime Predator' Now Streaming

The two-part documentary Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator, released on Prime Video on June 29, 2026, has been described as “deeply chilling” and “harrowing” by critics, as it reveals new details about the late entertainer’s history of sexual abuse.

Victims Speak Out for the First Time

The series features testimony from survivors who have never spoken publicly before, along with shocking archival footage. According to a Prime Video synopsis, it “brings together the full story of one of entertainment's most disturbing double lives, charting Harris's rise from suburban Perth to the heights of British fame while revealing the pattern of abuse that unfolded behind the scenes for decades.”

One victim, Cathy, recounts being assaulted by Harris in 1986 when she was 15 years old. She describes how Harris encouraged her to sit on his lap and began groping her legs. “This is all happening while we’re all singing and talking and laughing. It was so bizarre, no one knew anything was going on,” she said. After she fled to the bathroom, Harris waited for her outside and assaulted her again. “He put his fingers inside me and assaulted me and then he just walked away,” Cathy revealed. “For that one moment of whatever he got from it - it destroys people’s lives. Not just six months or a year, your whole life. Nothing is the same.”

Critical Acclaim and Disturbing Archive Footage

The Guardian described the documentary as “deeply chilling,” noting its “mind-boggling” archive footage that includes upsetting clips of Harris appearing on Jim’ll Fix It alongside Jimmy Savile, another prolific sex offender. The review stated: “From his child safety campaign ‘Kids can say no’ to an awful appearance on Jim’ll Fix It, some of the things the TV star was allowed to do beggar belief.”

The documentary also examines how institutional loyalty and cultural reverence allowed Harris to flourish as a predator for decades. More than a fallen celebrity story, it honours the resilience of those who refused to let his crimes be forgotten.

Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator is available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.
