Rochelle Humes: North West family weekend was 'needed'

Rochelle Humes has described her recent weekend spent with family in the North West as 'needed', sharing photos of her stay with her famous uncle, former England footballer Paul Ince.

A Family Tradition in Wirral

The presenter and business founder, who is married to singer and DJ Marvin Humes, took their children to stay with Paul and his wife, Claire, as is tradition during school breaks. On Sunday (October 18), Rochelle posted pictures from the trip showing the family enjoying a walk at Wirral Country Park and tucking into a chippy tea from Parkgate Fish & Chips in Neston, on the Wirral Peninsula in Cheshire.

"That was just the weekend I needed," Rochelle captioned her Instagram post. "There is genuinely nowhere else in the world I switch off quite like I do when I’m staying with my Aunt and Uncle. It’s my happy place, always has been."

Nostalgia and Happy Memories

She added: "Marv and I dropped the babies up north to start their half term and it always feels so nostalgic being there with them, knowing these are the exact same memories I have from spending my half terms there growing up."

Rochelle also wrote: "Something so special about watching your babies make memories in a place that holds so many of your own." Marvin responded: "The best weekend! We are very lucky."
