Robert Rinder's 'very upsetting' split from husband Seth Cummings

Robert Rinder, known for his role on ITV's Judge Rinder, was previously married to Seth Cummings, a political adviser turned lawyer. The couple tied the knot in Ibiza in 2013, with actor Benedict Cumberbatch officiating.

Rinder said at the time: "We got married, it's no secret, but no one was supposed to know – somebody put the pictures on Facebook." He added that Cummings had worked as a political adviser to George Osborne before becoming a lawyer.

The split

In 2018, the pair separated after 11 and a half years together. A source told The Sun: "It's very sad news but Rob is separating from his partner of 11-and-a-half-years. He's very upset about the situation, but the split is amicable and no one else is involved."

The source added: "Rob has never spoken about his relationship and nothing will change on that front. He very much wants to focus on his work, including Judge Rinder on ITV which he absolutely adores."

Recent rumours

Rinder has recently sparked romance rumours with TV star Rylan Clark, after the pair grew close filming the BBC's Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour series. Rylan joked he "might as well put a ring on it", but insisted they were just friends.

Rinder shared a photo of himself and Rylan wearing flower garlands on X, writing: "He said maybe @Rylan."
