Robbie Williams left Julia Roberts stunned during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show after revealing he once took a prostitute shopping, inspired by her film Pretty Woman.
The 51-year-old singer told the 57-year-old actress that he had watched her 1990 romantic comedy six times in a row. 'At the end of the six times, I was like “one day I will take a prostitute shopping”. And I did. I did. So, thank you,' he said.
Roberts was visibly shocked, her mouth dropping open as she sat speechless. Host Graham Norton quickly interjected: 'That’s a lovely story Robbie. That’s really lovely.'
The anecdote drew laughter from the studio audience and viewers online, with one fan posting on X: 'You can always trust Robbie to liven up Graham Norton.'
During the same episode, Williams also announced he would be playing Glastonbury in 2026, despite Norton pointing out the festival is taking a break next year. 'No, but I’m still going to play it,' Williams joked. 'They haven’t asked me since 1998, so I’m going to turn up in a truck, put the side down and then do half an hour.'
